Did you know that a battle of the War of 1812 was fought in Wisconsin?  No just Wisconsin, but Prairie du Chien!  In 1814, Prairie du Chien was the most important community on the upper Mississippi.  Both Great Britain and the United States want to control the prairie.  Guess who won?  Learn not only about the battle but the residents of Green Bay and Prairie du Chien and the Native Nations who were part of this conflict.  Illustrated.
