Rag Rugs: Cotton (loom-made by hand)
This handwoven rug is made up of hundreds of short pieces of fabric sewn together and then woven on the loom. The fabric can include pieces from clothing, curtains, and sheets - which are cotton/polyester materials. I try to make the rug using the same type of material throughout so when washing, they are of similar types.
While most, if not all, of the fabrics in this rug will have been laundered, the rug itself will not be washed so at its first washing please be prepared that it may shrink to a small degree. You may machine washable or dry clean. It may also be machine dried, but I suggest drying it about half dry, then letting it air dry the rest of the way to keep shrinking to a minimum.
Each rug will vary in size and color, which is in its description.
Please note that anything on the floor, including rugs, increases the odds of a trip. Please be careful!
